Connectivity.
The Digital Forum will be linked by a 10Gbps connection to Amphora Connect’s network core. This core connects directly to Telehouse and has an excellent latency of 2-2.5ms to the internet. It is possible to configure individual 10Gbps channels for customers wanting their own physical link between Colchester and Telehouse. The network is fully TSA-compliant.
In-building core systems.
In addition to the core 10Gbps connection to the building, There will be a fully managed Wi-Fi 6 to the communal parts of the building and a building-wide Cat6A and fibre network from the Comms Room.
The Colchester network.
An extensive dark fibre and managed Ethernet network reaching all of urban Colchester. There are almost 300 Points of Presence in key parts of the city centre and suburban networks.
Rack space.
We have rack space available at secure data centre facilities in Colchester. They have full resilient power, air conditioning and secure access. Customers wishing to install active equipment on the Colchester network can lease space.
